Too Much To Do was established by Linda Lawrence who, with over 20 years of teaching and managerial experience, understands the struggle that many people face in keeping on top of the organisational demands of running a business. Linda is able to offer high quality and innovative administrative support and training to professional and creative people and small businesses in the Gloucestershire/Wiltshire areas.

Linda ran her own after-school tuition business for 14 years and has extensive experience of teaching English and maths to adults and children as well as managing in the education sector. A qualified teacher of adults, a member of the Institute for Learning and a member of the Institute of Leadership and Management, she has a special interest in the challenges that some people face in dealing with the information overload and the communication demands of the modern workplace.

Using her skills from carrying out lesson observations, Linda can be a ‘fly on the wall’ during business meetings or presentations, give feedback, and develop an action plan with you to improve your performance.

As adults, we often develop complex strategies to cope with weak literacy or numeracy and this can drain creative energy. As a result of living in a dyslexic household, and teaching students with many different barriers to learning, Linda has the patience and sensitivity to support her clients in examining these strategies to see if they are still helpful or are obstructing progress.

Linda has lived in Stroud for the last 25 years and says, “If a client needs a task doing that I am not confident in taking on then I can usually recommend someone else in the area."
